What A Happy Girl I Am!

This is the third time I have followed this program in approximately 8 years, so far, all three times with success as I desire it.

I started the program this time, as I have a new job and my eating habits became abhorring. I was running through fast food windows and snacking without thought. I not only wanted to cleanse my body of the bad habits I had adapted, but the anticipated and known weight loss was also going to be a great benefit!

I started on a Sunday to jump start my week. I was completely faithful to my "bags of food", as I call it, and the Hydra water. Right from the beginning, on Monday morning, my digestive tract knew I was on a different food program. This continued through Wednesday, if you know what I mean. Initially, as I knew I would, I felt tired and lethargic. Tuesday and Wednesday I had to take a caffeine pill while driving long distance (for my job). Thursday night I came home from work with the start of a significant headache. I took my Excedrin and went to bed.

By Friday I was feeling really good! I was really proud of myself for being faithful to the program. I knew, from experience, I had been through the "tough part". My energy level began to sore. I had worked through the periods of hunger and now was able to eat just enough to be satisfied and it felt good. Now would be a good time to note that I really find the food tasty and satisfying. I am pleased to see the new version of the Veggilicious SPICE. This really enhances that product that, to me, not very interesting.

I made it through my first weekend and was really proud of myself as that is the time for socials, cocktail hours, etc. I kept thinking, just 13 days.

The scales started to tip virtually immediately! By Tuesday the scale tipped by three pounds. By the first weekend, six. By the end of the 13 days, 10! I had fun going to my closet and trying on shorts that I knew to be a bit tight when I started.

Into the second week, I added berries, fresh veggies (as a salad with olive oil/balsamic vinegar), and nuts. I ate all natural almonds, peanuts and walnuts. I really liked the variety it allowed and I felt like I was still on program. The results continued!

My program Tri-athalon ended on July 4th weekend, but it made me very conscientious at the holiday BBQ's, I have decided to continue with the program with the extra program food and continue to supplement with fruit, veggies and nuts. So, I am 17 days in, 10 lbs lighter, tummy noticeably flatter, eating habits seemingly under control.

What a happy girl I am! And, a fun note, based on how expressive and happy I have been on the program, a girlfriend of mine ordered the 7 day program to test for herself. Her initial reports, "going well".
